This basepad is designed with the IPSC OPTICS category in mind. It will extend your original 17rd(19rd) Shadow 2 magazine to the maximum 141.25mm allowed for this category. Like all our basepads, this also offers completely tool-less disassembly with the armanov proprietary locking plate designe. You can also add a grip tape to the bottom if you choose or leave it off (2 grippes are included).
It follows the clean and streamline design language of our super popular Speed Line basepads, but gives you increased magazine capacity, while still retaining the easiest disassembly mechanism on the market.
The magazine capacity will be increased to a total of 21rds without any modifications to the internals of the magazine. You can use a modified spring and follower combo that will allow 23rds to be fitted into the magazine while still feeding reliably.

Improved Grip:
Speed Line base pads enable a high gripping force for secure and precise magazine handling. The bottom of the pad is covered with a special anti-slip material and has deep side grooves.
Quick Disassembly:
Super easy disassembly without tools, just push the lock plate in with the finger and slide off the magazine pad. Easily clean your magazine on the field during competition.
Optics 141,25mm:
Designed to increase the magazine capacity from stock 17rds tube by +4rds without internal modification, and up to +6rds with a modified spring and follower for a total of 23rds while remaining compliant with IPSC Optics division restrictions, that limit total magazine lenght to 141.25mm.
