This Kershaw Brace survival knife is a so-called ‘neck knife’, this means that the knife can be worn like a necklace and can be pulled out quickly. A convenient system that can be worn discreetly. The Brace is a full tang knife with a drop point and a plain edge.
Its compact blade is made 8Cr13MoV steel which stays sharp for a long time and is very hard thus, durable. The blade converts into a steel handle with a ribbed underside and a removable overlay made of glass filled nylon.
The sheath is made of polypropylene and features a dual retention system which holds the knife without the use of another way to secure it in place. It only lets go of the knife when it’s being pulled on. This sheath also features an adjustable neck cord, webbing slots and tie holes.
