The DAA Auto Case Sorter (ACS) is a groundbreaking reloading accessory that mounts under your case feeder, inspecting each case before it enters your reloading press. It prevents inverted or incorrect caliber cases from reaching the shell plate, reducing jams, minimizing downtime, and ensuring consistent, high-quality ammunition.

Utilizing a patent-pending design with mechanical arms and magnetic sensors, the sorter measures case rim dimensions and height to distinguish between calibers—even differentiating a .38 Super from a .38 Super Comp!

Eliminate Reloading Hassles

Misfed cases can disrupt your workflow, forcing you to clear the shell plate, often requiring a full reset. This issue is even more problematic with automated presses, where pre-sorting cases is typically necessary. The DAA Auto Case Sorter eliminates these problems, keeping your reloading process smooth and efficient.

Fast, Compact, and Reliable

  • High-speed operation: Handles up to 3,800 rounds per hour fast enough to keep up with any reloading process.
  • Compact and lightweight: Easily mounts under your case feeder without adding bulk.
  • Automatic case rejection: Detects and ejects incorrect or upside-down cases before they reach the shell plate.

Easy Calibration & Operation

The DAA Auto Case Sorter supports all pistol calibers from .380 to .45 (excluding .357/.44 Mag).

Setting it up for each new caliber is simple:

  1. Manually sort five correctly oriented cases of your chosen caliber.
  2. Drop them into the sorter.
  3. Hold the red button for three seconds until the light indicates programming mode.
  4. The sorter measures, averages, and sets the baseline for that caliber. From then on, any different (or inverted) case is ejected.
  5. To switch calibers, repeat the steps above.

Additional Features

  • Jam Detection & Self-Calibration: If a jam occurs, the slider vibrates to clear it, then self-calibrates. If unsuccessful, the step-motor shuts off, allowing tool-free removal of the slider for cleaning/clearing. Simply replace, press the red button, and resume operation.
  • Case Bowl Emptying Mode: Holding the red button for five seconds puts the sorter into rapid emptying mode, ejecting all cases without measurement—ideal for quickly clearing your case feeder.
  • Digital Case Counter: A built-in counter tracks only correctly sorted cases, providing an accurate count of your loaded rounds.

We offer two Mounting Kits for the Auto Case Sorter (ACS) – compatible with Dillon or Mark 7 Apex 10.

Dillon Mounting Kit

This mounting kit for the DAA Auto Case Sorter includes all the parts necessary to mount your Auto Case Sorter onto a Dillon press, whether it is a 650/750, a 1050, or an 1100 model.
Each of these models requires different lengths of case-feeder tubes, so the kit includes a mini hacksaw to allow you to cut the lower (longer) tube to the correct length for your press.
This kit includes two 3 mm steel rods to hang and stabilize the Auto Case Sorter (ACS) beneath your case feeder. If you wish to orient the ACS at different angles, you can also use an articulated support arm (not included), which can be attached to the back of the ACS where a dedicated threaded insert is provided. These can be purchased inexpensively from Amazon or other suppliers of camera articulating mounts.
